The first edition of the Verbier Air Show, the world's first high-altitude airshow, took place last weekend. Organized by worldwide known base jumper, wingsuit flyer and multiple snowboarding freeride champion Géraldine Fasnacht (SUI), 6 different disciplines showcased their creativity. The best air athletes in the world gathered at 3,023 metres in the Swiss Alps in Valais. The most spectacular show was several international the base jumper leaping from the Mont Gelé cable car at 3,023m. Above the snow-covered slopes of the Valais Alps wingsuit and acrobatic paragliding demonstrations took place and impressed the crowd.
